Demonstrators stage a symbolic sit-in inside Parliament House, demanding sanctions on Israel and condemning Canberra’s response to allegations of abuse against detained Gaza aid flotilla activists.

Foreign ministers of Türkiye, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE call the conduct of Ben-Gvir ‘appalling, degrading, and unacceptable.’

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan says special flights are being arranged to return Turkish citizens and international activists after Israel intercepted the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla and abducted hundreds of participants.

The Tel Aviv District Court did not explain the sudden cancellation, saying only that an update had been received from Netanyahu’s attorney during the night.
