Erdogan also directly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, suggesting that the continuation of the war could serve political interests by helping him remain in power.
At the same time, the Turkish president emphasized the need for peace, expressing hope that a resolution can be reached without further bloodshed. He reaffirmed Türkiye’s willingness to play an active role in efforts to de-escalate the situation, even if it requires significant commitment.
