A billionaire’s daughter, a celebrated musician, an elite guest list including Africa’s richest man, and a venue nearly 7,000 kilometres from Nigeria summarises the recent wedding ceremony of Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola.
29-year-old Temi is the daughter of Nigerian businessman Femi Otedola, who is among Africa’s 20 richest people today.
Temi’s husband, 34-year-old Mr Eazi, is an award-winning Nigerian artiste.
The couple held a church wedding in Iceland’s capital on August 8th, 2025, but video clips from the ceremony were released only recently.
That underscores how closely guarded the wedding was. Temi’s father said only 100 people were invited.
Besides Africa’s wealthiest man, Aliko Dangote, the other billionaire among the guests was Nigeria’s Abdulsamad Rabiu, who is among the continent’s 10 richest people.
‘Good match’
The Iceland event was the third wedding ceremony Temi and Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, were holding.
Previously, they held a civil ceremony in Monaco on May 9th, 2025, followed by a traditional wedding at Femi Otedola’s family home in Dubai on July 5th.
Otedola said his daughter, who is an actress and a model, introduced Mr Eazi to him in 2017, and he was confident the musician would make a good husband to Temi.
