Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has vowed strong retaliation following a deadly attack on the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, which reportedly killed more than 165 people, including many children, in the early stages of the conflict.

In a televised address, Khamenei said Iran would not refrain from avenging the victims, stressing that each citizen killed would be considered a separate case in the country’s pursuit of justice against its enemies.

He also indicated that only a limited portion of Iran’s retaliation has been carried out so far, warning that further responses could follow as the conflict continues.

The Iranian leader additionally urged Gulf countries hosting US military bases to shut them down, arguing that the security guarantees offered by the United States “are nothing but a lie.”
